"Perfect location in easy walking distance to the White House, great restaurants, and two Metro stations - one with a direct line to Reagan International Airport. Although it is one of Washington's older hotels (it was originally the Statler Hotel and was finished during World War II), it has modern conveniences while retaining some of the interior architectural charm. We enjoyed our breakfast each morning in the North Gate Grill."

"Area where hotel is located can seem a bit odd but it’s very centralized especially since right next to capital one arena and all sorts of restaurants and a convenient Walgreens on the corner. Area has some vagrants and can be noisy with police/ambulance sirens but life is happening even on vacation. Front desk is welcoming and informative. Housekeepers are friendly. Hallways, stairs and rooms were clean with no complaints. Lobby is beautiful with attached bar and lounge and restaurant. So many hidden gems that are walking distance, metro/bus stop right outside hotel. The Smithsonian of American Art Museum is merely around the corner walking distance. Union station is also a straight shot of 20 mins walking as well. Hotel was just right for being close enough to most things and at least 30 mins walking to the White House/Washington monument. Would stay again :)"

"Check in was quick. The room was great having been recently renovated. The hotel is in the center of DC with access to the metro from inside the hotel. Lots of great restaurants and sightseeing to do by walking. Will definitely stay here again!"
