"Good for a business stay"

"Lovely staff that spoke excellent English. We loved that we could buy reasonably priced wine and beer from self service bar and supply of glasses too. Was going to have breakfast but felt it was very expensive when there a couple of cafes open around the corner. All in all was a great hotel."

"Check in was easy as completed on line. Our room (22) was like going back to the 80’s but was clean, fully functional and quite big. Brekkie offering was plentiful, selection of cereals, cold meats, cheeses, yoghurts, breads, preserves, dried and fresh fruit, tea, coffee, selection of doughnuts also the option of eggs and crispy bacon cooked to order. Weather permitting, you can take brekkie in a nice little courtyard. Hotel is 15 min walk to train station, journey to Cologne Central took 38 mins. Happy with choice, value, courtesy of staff and would stay again. "

"Large clean room. Had to call to get room key code it was not sent as promised. 90% of the time there is No employee to talk to about If your not from germany we were told not use the plug adapter because it would kill the power supply. Sign in bathroom states to throw your dirty towels on the floor. They will be replaced. But then room service did not come and clean or change towels that day and no one was there to talk to. Door handle came off. Coffee maker ran out of water and it was not refilled in common area 1/2 the time. Although plenty of coffee, cream and sugar were put out. Hotel is in a shopping strip with a grocery store right across the street that you can easily walk to. There is 20 steps and no elevators to get to the most rooms. "
