"This is an old hunting lodge type hotel with plenty of old character; displaying stuffed animals, everyday items from yesterday year hanging from the ceilings, walls or perched on windowsills! Each of the 40 plus rooms upstairs were named by European cities as well as numbered. You had an old fashioned key to open & close your room! Our room 'Turku' was a tad stuffy, although there was a ceiling fan or windows to open as an option. Breakfast had a good selection of hot & cold, cereals, pastries...

"Great hotel to stay at! We had a Premium Room on the 6th floor with great Old Town views. The view over the train station is great as well. Room was spacious and clean, there were 2 little negatives in the bathroom: - the hand towel holder came off the wall - shower is low pressure (but not a deal breaker) We had breakfast and it was plentiful (we’re mostly oatmeal people though), I liked the coffee and the really fluffy cake. We needed to stay an extra night and our room was available and...

"Book a suite to be confortable, expecting seating , minimum to cook in . There was just 1 chair, no microwave. sound isolation between rooms was terrible, could hear the next door guest coughing all night or watching TV. no blind to close windows when it's daylight half of the night and you have a street light in front of the window. Also noisy road below."
