"This property is beautiful and isolated, about 8 kms outside Ourzazate. It's set beautifully but star gazing might be the only thing that you could do around here in the evening. Staff is friendly and helpful. We did have 1 room that had heat issues (December time and heater didn't work) but they shifted us to a bigger room. Water was heated and the room heat was sufficient. "When travelling you need to set expectations to where you are. Views were FANTASTIC, and Rida was the BEST! He was really helpful in helping us getting around and served us like kings and queens. The hotel wasn’t the cleanest, but the experience really was incredible. "

"We had a great stay in the suite, there was good closet space, living room space, a king bedroom and a fairly large bathroom. Hotel uses the middle eastern style bidet (no hose or toilet automation). WiFi was good when the hotel wasn’t busy. Nice pool area, no gym on property. For the suite, the TV only faces the bedroom leaving a mirror on the living room side. There are modern outlets at the beds for charging, but found the normal power plugs are still faster."

Not only is the “Desert Villa” breathtakingly beautiful, but so was the atmosphere because of the hospitality of the owner Youssef and his brother. "This hotel is amazing. The room and swimming pool were spotless, and I appreciated being allowed to check in early. All the staff were welcoming and kind. A special thanks to Mr. Hassan, who arranged activities for us and helped us find a supermarket. The breakfast was delicious, and my kids especially loved the pasta! :) If I visit Merzouga again, I will definitely stay at this hotel. Thank you for making our experience so memorable."
