Other hotel tenants who arrive were loud and would converse outside of rooms which made it challenging to ignore. "Needed a little get-away not too far from home. This little cottage is perfect in so many ways. It's in a quiet, private neighborhood. Parking is convenient with circular drive. Don't skip the history of the area and home in the welcome notebook. We fell in love with the Crab Orchard Stone on the house. "The property was very clean, quiet, and spacious. This trip was part of a longer trip, and I really liked having the laundry on hand, so I didn’t have to go home with a ton of dirty laundry.The one thing we did have an issue with was the floors which seemed to be giving out in certain areas. There were also animals in the attic and underneath the house that scratched at night time keeping us awake."

"As most reviews mention it is dated, but the staff is wonderful. Our unit was clean and overlooked the golf course. To have a full kitchen, living room, deck and 2 bedrooms for the price of a standard motel room this is a great place to stay."
