"We had a room with a sunny balcony, the bed was very comfortable, the breakfasts every morning were excellent. The bath had neither a plug or a shower curtain, the only option was to knell and use the hand shower. We were disappointed to be told that the restaurant was closed Sunday evening and all day Monday, none of the other local restaurants were open."

"Not an ideal location if you plan to use public transit to visit Lyon. Our cab from the train station was 70 euro, and in hindsight we could have stayed in just as nice of a hotel closer to the city after considering the price we had to pay in transportation. There was no one at reception when we checked in (during regular hours), my cell phone couldn’t connect to the assistance number so luckily our taxi driver allowed us to use his phone so we could call to be checked in. "Stayed just for 1 night which was too little time! My wife said it’s very charming and “homey” (I agree), and the host was very nice and friendly. Breakfast included home made bread, crepes fresh jam and cheese. Just remember that it’s a very old building with no elevator filled with quirks and the washroom is a little small but it adds to the place’s wonder. Definitely would stay again!"
