"The grounds are beautiful! There could be a few more patio umbrellas around the pool. You can’t always get one. The buffet breakfast is awesome-everything you could possibly want. "Overall Villa Lapas Jungle Resort was a good place to stay. We had 2 rooms with breakfast, but did not pay for the all inclusive stay because we are vegetarian and don’t drink alcohol. Positives: 1. "Older charming hotel. Great traditional Costa Rica breakfast daily. Nice pool. Amazing beach. Able to rent boogie boards and take surf lessons. Efran at the beach bar was friendly and made great cocktails. Katherine at front desk was very helpful. She made arrangements for excursions and taxis and was so very nice. "This was the perfect place for me to do a week-long solo time. I had a great ocean view in the Junior Suite with a bath tub. I swam in the pool and ocean everyday, had lovely meals in the Tiki restaurant, and good connections with several of the staff. I don't know about the other rooms, but the Jr. Suite was delightful!"
