"We stayed here before and after our Inca Trail hike. We really enjoyed the ambiance of this hotel as it is comprised of only a few rooms. Therefore, it is quiet and relaxing. We also enjoyed our host and owner as he was great at conversation so there was never a dull moment. He prepares breakfast for you in the morning (which is filling and nutritious). The hotel is only about a 10 minute walk to the plaza de armas so you are close to the action. "

"Breakfast & the location was great, we had to cancel the reservations because there wasn’t any heat. The weather was cold and rainy, cold air came inside the room from the door & bathroom window which didn’t seal/close properly. Large black spider visited us & we had to report no hot water… maintenance came ran water for >5minutes, ran sink & shower & flushed toilet to make water lukewarm. " Our stay was comfortable and good value. We slept very warmly, with blankets and doonas provided. Beds are comfy and room was a good size for a reasonable price. Breakfast was terrific and staff were really helpful and super courteous. Staircases around the property are wooden, so there does tend to be some early morning stomping around.
