"An exceptional hotel - spotless, very comfortable, friendly, amazing breakfast and access to tea and coffee all day in the lovely breakfast room (with a view), plus walking distance to everything as it’s right in the old town - perfect."
"Charming hotel in a great location, great service, very comfortable beds, nice cafe with good pastries and pleasant outdoor seating. Walkable to everything."
"This is an absolutely charming hotel, the staff both the owners and housekeepers were kind and more than willing to help. Truly a unique experience as well seeing as the hotel is so small and personal."
"Great level of cleanliness in the room and the staff were very helpful. The communal areas were also very clean and pleasant to sit in. Good free coffee and hot chocolate for the kids. Our stay exceeded expectations. A short 10 minute bike ride into the centre of Haarlem. "
"Fantastic staff; let us check in early and helped with navigating parking and getting through the streets.
Incredibly cute hotel nestled in the city center. Great restaurants nearby.
Beautiful cathedral giving all glory to God. Lovely bells play throughout the day."
"The staff were so lovely I arrived at 12 noon to be told check in is at 4 but I had flown in for my friends funeral and they were really lively and let me into my room early"
"We loved this hotel!! Excellent staff, especially Sue who went out of her way to help us with a restaurant reservation. Good location and beautiful view!!"
"This is a beautiful little seaside bed and breakfast. It’s a short walk to the beach in Zandvoort and an even shorter walk to the train station. It’s under 15 minutes to Haarlem and close to Amsterdam as well. The room was very comfortable - great bed and AC. Breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room. Harry was a great host - super helpful and friendly."

"I was a little worried after reading the reviews, but was very pleasantly surprised with my 2 night stay. Parking was plentiful and fairly reasonable for Amsterdam. Check in was quick and easy, though they do make you aware of the very strict no smoking policy which some people seem to have been caught by.
The room was spotless and quite modern. Bathroom was clean and the AC worked very well. I had 2 of the best nights sleep here out of my 2 week trip.
I did find the breakfast very expensive, but just walked to McDonald's literally next door instead. The elevator also tends to jam up around 11 am as everyone tried to leave at the same time.
Getting into the city was a breeze on the Number 1 train line. 20 minites walk if you believe Google, or 3 minutes if you are willing to walk across the road instead of follow the bike paths. I will add a photo of the hotel from the train station to show how close it is. We got the GVB daily pass for $9.50 using the GVB app. This made travelling quick, easy and affordable as the daily pass is a virtual ticket that can be used for 24 hours from time of activation and is good for GVB buses, trains, trams and even the night bus. If you bus the 2 or 3 day pass, it works out even cheaper.
Overall a great stay and would stay here again.
