"The room & bathroom was very dated and somewhat tired but very clean. The TV was tiny for the size of the room and the radiator a bit small. The staff were generally very helpful and the food in the restaurant very good, apart from the breakfast which was poor in quality."

"Very convenient location, but parking can be tricky- especially at peak times. Big plus- dog friendly The hotel is quite dated inside. We did not eat there, we ate out. A great base if you like being out and about. Our room was close to the lift so early morning and late in the evening, we could hear the comings and goings. Tv and hairdryer in the room a bonus Overall, good value for money. "

"Lovely spa facilities and really helpful staff. It wasn’t very easy to get a taxi into Padstow unless it had been pre-booked which we didn’t realise but overall it is a wonderful hotel. "

"We loved our stay at Fistral Beach Hotel & Spa. Loved being able to use the spa facilities and the room was modern and cosy with a selection of teas, coffees and shortbread. The hotel is good walking distance into Newquay town and the route via the golf course is lovely. The restaurant offers great views of Fistral Beach. They have a cute photo booth just by the elevator which was a nice touch. Only thing I would say is the heating was whacked up for winter so the room was boiling but luckily...

"We had a one night stay at the Harbour Hotel (St Ives) as a couple in a sea view room. We had a nice stay on the whole. The Spa with swimming pool was a lovely addition that also included a jacuzzi. The settings at the Harbour Hotel was lovely inside and very clean as was the rooms. Reception and the Spa staff approachable if you needed anything at all. "Booked this as a treat as it was my partners 60th birthday as well as NYE. Everything from start to finish was beyond our expectation. All staff were very approachable, friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful hotel and location. "

"I enjoyed my brief stay at St Mellion’s. The staff were welcoming and the hotel was clean and tastefully decorated for the festive period. The bed was huge and the bathroom had plenty of towels and handwash/shower gel etc. Although there weren’t many gluten free options on the restaurant menu, the staff were helpful and made me a GF steak and chips which was perfectly cooked. The cooked breakfast was all GF and a very generous portion. I would definitely stay again. "

"Room was clean and bed comfy. Room was facing the main road, but you couldn't hear the traffic. Only problem was very creaky floorboards and not enough hot water to run a bath. Also would of been nice to have just a residents only bit of bar. The steam bar was always busy and tables full "

"We have stayed at The Falmouth a number of times over the past 20 years, through a least 3 different management regimes, overall this was the best yet. Service was good, staff very efficient, parking OK. However a couple of things let it down, the bedroom is secondary glazed, one complete pane of glass was completely missing from an outer window, no explanation given and if not repaired it could have been boarded over.
