"Beautiful old manor, impressive entry to the property. In need of cleaning and extensive maintenance. Beautiful grounds, lots of greenery and extremely lush. Room was very small, but worked. No air conditioning, had to open windows but no screens. Must carry your bags up a very narrow spiral staircase. Dinner at the restaurant was very good, food presentation was excellent. Overall would recommend and would stay again, but would love to see the owners do some overall repairs."

"Clean rooms, comfy bed. Great restaurant and service! My only complaint was it was HOT. They had a heat wave. It was 93 and no air condition and no fans. Also no elevator so if you’re on 1st or 2nd floor you’ll have to drag your bags up. But very good location overlooking beautiful lake. Great service. Any other time but when very hot, great hotel. And if you’re elderly it can be difficult up stairs (I had 71 and 69 year old women with me and it was a struggle. The restaurant was amazing though...
