Tour the massive auditorium of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, which seats over 21,000 people and is anchored by a 7,667-pipe organ.

Visit the massive Conference Center, which hosts the semiannual General Conference of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Take a tour to learn more about the center and the Mormon Church.

The Conference Center was completed in 2000. Every April and October, it opens its doors to thousands of church members from across the world for the General Conference. It also hosts a variety of other events throughout the year. See the famous Mormon Tabernacle Choir perform on the center’s sweeping stage.

Admire a variety of paintings on display throughout the Conference Center. See the storied Book of Mormon gallery by Arnold Friberg, which depicts key scenes from the church’s teachings.

Step into the vast auditorium, which is so large that a Boeing 747 jet could fit comfortably inside. Gaze at the 21,000 seats arranged in a sweeping semicircle with no visible supporting columns. Marvel at the massive organ, featuring 7,667 pipes, that anchors the stage. Look up at the large chandelier descending from an airy skylight. Check out the adjacent theater, which seats 900.

The exteriors of the Conference Center are as impressive as its interiors. The white cubist structure seems to rise like a series of man-made hillocks from the earth. Check out the waterfall tumbling serenely from the spire near the entrance.

Climb up to the Conference Center’s roof, which is home to a lush garden. Explore its many terraces and relax among the trees and flowers that have been planted here. Enjoy perfect views of Temple Square below and snow-capped mountains on the horizon. Tours of the rooftop gardens are available from April through October.

The Conference Center is open daily. The last tour begins an hour before closing time. Note that the center is occasionally closed for large performances and events. Call ahead of your visit to make sure it’s open to the public. There is no admission fee.
