"The staff was wonderful! Ixchal, Josefa, Hugo and Claudio and all the rest really made us feel welcome and took great care of us during our stay. The food and drinks in the bar and restaurant were really yummy and the view is spectacular. We hope to return some day!"

"Great value, great view. The ideal location on Cerro Concepcion. A beautiful view—from room 10–of the ever-changing port and looking across the entire width of the bay. Helpful and knowledgeable staff, with English. Excellent breakfast, and the onsite restaurant—sandwiches, mostly—was able to accommodate our late arrival on a Monday night. Nice contemporary design, well-appointed, with a vertiginous stairway that we got used to."

"Clean room, comfortable bed, fantastic views. The pool was very nice and we very much enjoyed the jacuzzi. Most of the staff was very friendly. They were over 40 minutes late both days with breakfast which was included with our stay. There was also a problem with being overcharged by the hotel but it was resolved quickly."

"Casa Galos was a very nicely done complete remodel of an old mansion up the hill in Cerro Conception Valpo with a rooftop deck and great view of the harbor, and close to several excellent restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast healthy and fresh. I highly recommend it. "

"This property had a wonderful spacious room. The view was absolutely the best I've ever had in any room with huge panoramic windows that have side windows that open. We saw sea lions swimming in front of the hotel right out our window. On the right evening the sunset would be unbelievable. We were late getting there and the owners kept in contact and let us in late. Just a fantastic stay! "

"Lovely hotel with beautiful views of the port. Excellent location and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Nicely decorated with a large terrace. Reserve a balcony room if possible. Lots of good restaurants nearby, and the street art! I would come back to Valparaiso just to stay at this hotel."

"The location is wonderful, with views of the port and the city. Also, it is an easy walk to restaurants & marketplace as well as to the furnicular into the main square. Be sure to sign up for your private Spa session - with a small pool, hot tub, sauna and tranquil vibe. Above all - the staff was exceptional. I truly loved my couple of days here!"

"My family slept comfortably in a suite with 1 queen, 2 twin beds, and a a private bathroom. The beds were comfortable and room was clean. The hostel has a very welcoming and warm feel to it. The common area has a fully functioning kitchen and access to fridges that you can store food in. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend!"

"I liked that the hotel is almost an art galleria, with several paints and sculptures. They have a secure parking that's not common in that area. Staff is friendly and kind. It's not far from the famous urban art streets that are recommended to walk during the day. Avoid the halls at night."
