While Bear Park might not have many sights to explore, venturing just a little farther will lead you to top things to see and do like Sacramento Peak Observatory and Sacramento Mountains Museum.
If cloudcroft had more hotels with more waitstaff and stayed open til 9, it would be great. Music venues would be nice. Liked the Bigfoot entreprises experience. Its a good place to learn to ski. It has nice shops, and its close to other towns.

Cloudcroft is in the Sacramento Mountains at about 8500 foot elevation. Forests and wildlife are abundant. Temperatures are quite refreshing in the summer compared to the desert below.

It's definitely a small town so if you arrive late, plan to eat what you have with you for a late dinner. It's cute, there's so many shops and everyone was friendly!
