"We feel very luck to have found Hotel Madison. From the outside it appears very nondescript. When you enter you are immediately greeted by friendly staff. Lorenzo checked us in - was very helpful and friendly. Our room was very large, very clean and very safe. The size, comfort and amenities is unique for Rome at the offering price. It was great to just get off the train and walk right across to hotel Madison. I highly recommend this hotel."

"This place and the owner, Gabriella, were perfect. She was extremely helpful and kind. The building is a cool authentic Roman building in an authentic residential neighborhood, but just a 10 or fifteen minute walk from the Colosseum and the Forum. I walked the whole city from the location, but if you don't want to walk, there is a metro station that will get you anywhere on the corner. "We had a wonderful stay at Sonder Testaccio. We took a cab from the airport but the bus and metro stops are nearby and we used those too. The hotel is very nice with 24 hour coffee and water and a lovely "continental" breakfast (for an extra 15 euros) which is really a full buffet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was excellent, and there was a medicine cabinet and drawers in the bathroom which was super helpful and convenient. There is someone at the desk 24 hours and they were all so nice...
