"I was on a course at Wrexham University and opted to stay just outside of Wrexham. Lovely little place. Spotlessly clean too. Lovely, friendly owners and a lovely bar meal had. The heating my in room was broken but was informed on check in and an alternative made available! Great! "

"Communication with the owner was poor, had to chase on several occasions for access arrangements etc. The heating didn't work so had to contact owner to solve issue. The bath/shower leaks onto the stairs when in use. Covers are placed over settee so you feel like you are intruding. Bins were not clean on arrival. Beds were comfy and generally if was ok for a one night stay."

"The 2 nights at the hotel were pleasant, hotel was down a lane and a bit awkward to get to but nice and quiet. Staff were great but let down by the shortcomings of the computer system in the restaurant and bar. The room we had was ok, bathroom was very small and tired. The Bedroom was ok, could do with cleaning the window frames more regularly though. Otherwise bed was comfortable enough. Didnt use the Spa or pool. "
