We stayed at Remm from 2/6 to 8/25. The location is excellent, right next to the train station, with plenty of shopping options nearby. The reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is due to an issue with the cleanliness of one of the rooms. My friends noticed socks and toothpicks on the floor behind and next to the massage chair, which seemed to have been there for some time. We asked the staff to clean the room the next day, and while they did, the socks and toothpicks were still there when we returned. When I addressed this with the hotel staff, they apologized. I also asked if there was any compensation, such as a discount on breakfast or dinner, but they explained that they don’t offer that, and apologized again. While I understand this was not the front desk's fault, I do think the hotel should have a policy in place for such situations, such as offering a small discount or gesture of goodwill. The rooms are small, but they served their purpose as we were mostly out exploring the city.

Remm hotel is a great place to stay in Akiba. We come back often and always enjoy our stay. It is next-door to the train station and walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Location is unbeatable - literally 30 secs from the JR gate, a few minutes from too many shopping and dining spots. Love the walk in shower, very spacious. Even a massage chair is included. Room is small so pack light if you can. Washing machines could use some regular cleaning, fabric pieces and hair are visible on the door seals. Really slow elevators, only 2 reach the ground exit.

Fantastic location whether you love anime or otaku culture or not. It is literally above and next to the train station (Yamanote Line access), there is a taxi stand on the other side. There are multiple convenience stores, two Starbucks below, Yodabashi Camera, Uniqlo, and some fantastic restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance of the entrance. This place has a washer and dryer on site. And of course if you are an otaku, lots of arcades, merch. I would give the property rating 5 stars, but I don't like that one elevator only serves floor 6 and above, and the check in is on floor 6. All elevators will stop at 6 regardless, so it takes time to get used to. But rooms and comfortable, heating and AC, shower pressure is great, water is piping hot! Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in the absolute center of Akihabara. For a Blade Runner-like Tokyo experience you want to stay here. Rooms are small but very nicely designed with everything you'd need. Especially like the windowed bathroom. It looks like Stanley Kubrick designed the rooms a la 2001 Space Odyssey. Great Tokyo experience. We would stay here again!

This is a fantastic hotel to stay in Akihabara! I like that it is in the same block as the JR Akihabara station. This makes it very easy to explore anywhere in Tokyo. There's also tons to do in the area around the hotel. I recommend checking out the BookOff next door, or have pancakes delivered by a cat robot at Gusto, which is less than a block away. The rooms at the hotel are clean. They are small, so if you're travelling with another person, I'd recommend getting two rooms. If you have two adults with luggage, it's going to be very tight on space in the room. This is not unusual for hotel rooms in Tokyo.

I stayed at the property ten years ago. It's getting run down showing its age. The automated check in is kind of neat but unsightly. The rooms have no storage whatsoever. So for two people with suitcases it's very cramped. Staff friendly and helpful. Few toiletries in the room. Younger them at the front desk. The location is great but they need to update the property.

Great location, but rundown rooms
Amazing location next to Akihabara station. Hotel is quite old and needs remodeling. The furniture and bathroom is outdated and everything felt crusty. The room was not the cleanest (massage chair cup holders had dirt and boogers, gross). May have been a nice hotel/room 10 years ago, but in the current state, is about equivalent to a 2.5 star hotel. Overall, stay here for the convenient location. But JR Mets East is in a similarly great location and feels at least 5 years newer!
