This hotel definitely belongs in Chiang Mai; has lots of character, isn't too big nor busy! It's on a small back road really close to the busy areas in the old city, so you get the location without the noise! The breakfast is fantastic; you get a selection of pastries, fruit and cereal, then you get to choose one of their main dishes from the menu. The pool is QUITE cold, so I was usually the only one using it. You don't get a good sun angle (at least in January) for tanning or anything but it's still a great place to hang out. It can get a tiny bit noisy because the rooms are all facing the common area, and we were on the bottom floor right beside the pool. Great bed, good shower, I would stay here again for sure.
