"Visit to Ashland with friends. Had 2-Queen room with the view of the lake and it was perfect size for 4 friends. Pull out couch was a bit rough but I travel with a mattress pad so it was ok. Front desk staff was excellent. Breakfast was nice. Nothing to shout about but good selection. Great location. No pool but they should consider a sauna space. "

"Check in was quick and easy. Very clean room and comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again. The only downside is that shop and bar area closed at 4 pm. Would recommend staying open a little longer."

"If you’ve stayed at AmericInns before, this one is pretty much like the others. Beautiful view of LakeSuperior and the shoreline is right out the door! There’s also a small water park attached but they are in the process of taking out the slides and it was only open on weekends. The property is located on the edge of town, but dining is just a short drive away. Check out BlackCat coffee and Ashland BakingCompany for goodies in town!"

"easy access, quick check in the only negative is that the room i was in was near a smoking area or a room that allowed smoking and it seeped in to my room making it hard to breath and burning the eyes. the no smoking policy needs to be more strongly enforced"
