"Our stay was lovely as were the rooms and facility. We enjoyed drinks in the library, walks on the grounds, and great food in Darby’s Tavern. We did encounter a few hiccups in service. The morning front desk attendant was a bit unpleasant as was one of the waitstaff in the Tavern. "Hotel was nice and most staff were kind, friendly, and helpful despite the large volume of people trying to check in at the same time ahead of a show at JPJ area. The exception was the valet. I saw him get into a verbal altercation with a pedestrian that he almost hit with someone else’s car. We also witnessed the valet drive like a maniac when out of view of the lobby area. We decided to self-park. I could have done without the fish hanging above the beds but that is probably a me thing and...

"Excellent visit overall. The hotel was full and only had 2 elevators working, so it was always a wait for the elevator. Bed and shower were awesome! Walkable to Altria Theatre and downtown restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! "
