"Overall i enjoyed my stay but there were a few points that could have been better. The room is a bit too dark for my taste, and one of the bulbs was not working. Also, the refrigerator is making regular noise but its close to the bed, so you can hear it at night. Last point on the room is that when the room above (i think) is occupied, some things, i think its water running, can be heard loudly in the room. "We spent 4 nights at the Whispering Sands Motel, using as a base to hike in and near Goblin Valley State Park. The room is spacious, very clean and well maintained. The beds are comfortable, and the refrigerator is large for a hotel and has a small freezer that actually works. Though we didn't ask to have our room cleaned, they emptied the trash, gave us clean towels and replenished the coffee daily, which we appreciated. We had a few small requests for the office, all of which were dealt with...

"The beds were very comfortable, the pool and hot tub area was nice. Love the Cow Cafe for dinner and breakfast. Breakfast was free and delicious! Rooms were very quiet. I was surprised it was a motel and the pool was across the parking lot but it was fine and we felt safe. "

"The Motel Torrey has been a great place for us to rest and recover after a day of exploring canyons, trails, and other spectacular features in the area around Capitol Reef NP. Our room was clean and organized, and check-in was hassle free. We enjoyed the beautiful night sky on our way home from dining at the Capital Burger and testing ciders at Etta Place Cidery & Tap Room (both nearby)."
