"This is a lovely hotel very much in the Santa Fe “vibe”. It’s only two blocks from the main Santa Fe Plaza and historic downtown. Valet parking is available and, for a short stay, it’s worth just parking your car and walking if this is your first visit to Santa Fe. The rooms are huge, high ceilings, large bathrooms. Not only is there a free, hot and quite adequate, breakfast, but there is also a nightly happy hour (really an hour and a half) with free drinks and hot snacks for hotel guests. Heated pool on the rooftop, a quiet nook with books and two comfy leather chairs as well as plenty of other places to sit and relax after a day of walking around the beautiful city of Santa Fe. The hotel is popular with tours and families but is quiet at night. "

"Me and the wife truly could not get enough of this town, let alone the lodge. Greeted with some of the best staff around we were able to experience Santa Fe almost to its fullest with just the couple of days we were staying. I cannot express how friendly and understanding the staff was. We had a personal issue with one of the rooms and the lady at the front desk (night) was absolutely willing to make sure we had a great stay, no questions asked! Love this place and Santa Fe. Thank you for the wonderful experience. I hope to once again return to Santa Fe and this will be the only place I stay! "
