"I had a great stay at this hotel. Rita did an absolutely outstanding job at check-in. She was extremely welcoming and spent extra time recommending dining options in the area. The room was clean and spacious. The view - amazing. The location couldn't be more perfect - it's right on the main pedestrian street with easy access to everything. All the staff were courteous and pleasant. If I ever come back to Catania, I would stay here again."

"We stayed at the hotel Royal for 2 nights in October. The hotel is located just a 10 minute walk from the centre, however it is up quite a steep hill, so if you have a lot of baggage it’s not ideal. The room itself was ok, not as nice as the one shown in pictures but the bed was comfortable. Sadly the room smelled of feet and we had no toilet seat and had request one.One of the main reasons for booking was the jacuzzi, however we later found it was €30 per couple per hour to use. "Great stay in Catania here for a little winter sun. Staff were amazingly helpful, upgraded our room for free suggested nearby towns to visit. The breakfast everday was exceptional and there were no shortage of option's. The room was spacious and well maintained throughout our stay. The gym was functional (though perhaps the treadmill could do with a service)... the hotel is close to central Catania so makes the perfect base to visit the city. Would definitely stay here again and reccomend."
