"What a rare gem this hotel was. It's like stepping back into time (and space). So many beautiful details everywhere. Location to die for as well. The owner/host was such a lovely gentleman too. 11/10. Wouldn't stay anywhere else in Catania."

"The location of the hotel was excellent. All the main areas are within walking distance. The staff were extremely welcoming, friendly and helpful. Their restaurant recommendations were exceptional. The room had good air conditioning and was very spacious (we had a quandruple room/suite which had 2 modern bathrooms). There were complimentary toiletries each day, the room had a mini fridge to store drinks. The breakfasts were very good with a good selection of continental items plus great coffee"

"The hotel is quite worn, but clean. Beds reasonably comfortable, water in the shower warm, etc. Do not expect much from breakfast. Located outside the city on a thoroughfare, there's not much places to eat, but we were concerned about parking and proximity to the airport - it is indeed a few minutes drive. Definitely on the plus side - friendly service at the reception. "
