"The property is in a great location, a minute walk from the main Piazza. Traditional building restored to a great standard combining modern amenities with traditional features. "I stayed here for a weekend because my friends wedding reception was nearby. The place is beautiful. Maria and her husband are the sweetest! I don’t speak Italian but we were able to communicate very well. They make you feel like you are their family. I felt so safe and if I am ever back in Sicily I would stay here again. "Unique colour of building. I asked who I believe was the manager if they did food. Yes came the reply, “what time” I asked, “I don’t know, 7.00, 7.30, no - 8.00” Are there any restaurants nearby the are open at 6.30 to 7.00 - “I don’t know” Are there any in Pozzallo? - “yes, but don’t know any of them” Room was dark and unwelcoming. Facilities on offer are bettered by most guest houses and simple bed and breakfasts. Never is this a 3 star hotel - avoid - you have been warned."

"Lovely old hotel with a lot of character. We were only there for one night but had a good night’s sleep. We were late to check in but there was good communication with the representative who very kindly waited for us (for a fee for late check in after 8pm). They were also very kind and allowed us to leave our suitcases at their office for the day whilst we e loved Scicli which was and chanting little town."
