Relax at heaven's gate
Check in was not ready st 3pm, but the view from the balcony while we waited was beautiful and a great way to wind down after arriving.
Nelda, the owner, is responsive and quick to help.
The property is about 2+ KM away from the beginning of the city, so you will need to make arrangements and have food handy to make dinner, as there are no easy access to markets in the area.
The space was clean, shower hot. Beds and linens were comfortable and well taken care of. Well heated with a fireplace for the extra cool evenings.
You can make it there in public transportation easily (which we did), but best if you have your own vehicle. It's right off the main road and easily found by your driver.
Impeccable views overlooking the bay and the gardens very well taken care of with lighted paths to meander all the way down to the beach.
Nelda does offer hot tub access at an extra charge, which needs to be reserved ahead of time.
The place is lovely, rich with character and charm authentic of the Island. Bird watchers paradise, sea lions, geese, dolphin... and the sweetest dogs on property.
Do not miss out on this booking!
