"Everything was as advertised. Great service, clean, and everything you would need in the room. Bread and breakfast basket very good. Hosts went above and beyond to make our stay great. We would recommend and would return to Citrus Creek. "

"Narrissa, the property manager was very responsive and helpful. The apartment was very clean, big and comfortable. We loved the pool, which we had to ourselves. There was also a jacuzzi, which was turned on for us whenever we wanted. There was a bakery about a 5 minute walk away and you could walk to town of Roseau and botanical gardens in 10-15 minutes. There was private, free parking on the property. Very good value for money."

"Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so...

"Given the ratings/reviews & my experience with similar caliber properties around the world, I was disappointed in certain things. The security guard at the front gate of the property was extremely rude. Didn't welcome us but asked what we were doing there. Our driver was very taken back by his behavior & said he's never seen anyone so rude at this establishment. Two days prior to arrival, I was sent an email form w/ one of the questions asking when we'd be arriving. I selected the noon-2pm...

"Great property and staff were very accommodating. The front desk called me when I landed to let me know the kitchen was closing and if we wanted pizza since we would arrive late. The pizza was waiting in our room. And on the last night (Christmas Eve) we asked the staff in the restaurant if we can get some local food. They were so happy to oblige. "We loved our stay at Serenity Lodge! We chose it as our plane arrived late in the day at the airport and after a long day of travel, we didn’t want to drive far. It was the perfect place to stay. Not only for the location close to the Douglas- Charles Airport, but, more importantly, for the opportunity to meet Lester and Carina. A wonderful couple who warmly welcomed us, made a delicious dinner and made us feel at home! Their place is spotless, comfortable, and quiet! We loved it and will return."

"The hotel is magical, just as it looks in the photo…..Everyone is super friendly and very helpful …The only meal I had was breakfast and it was delicious…. One thing though after paying all that money a night at least meals should be part of it but despite my one only hiccup sadly it has to end but enjoyed my stay immensely….I will definitely be back in the future…."

"We stayed at Hibiscus Valley Inn for 9 days in a Semi-Deluxe Room (#11). It was a wonderful experience. The room was great, the surrounding of a tropical garden was delightful. The staff (Shine, Linda, Coffee, Omahry, and Nigel) were very friendly and more than helpful. Hibiscus Valley Inn is only 20 minutes (by car/taxi) from the airport in Marigot. The staff can organize tours to different highlights of Dominica. For a longer stay, we still recommend to rent a car to explore the island more independently. Altogether we were very satisfied with our stay at Hibiscus Valley Inn and we are looking forward to return."

"An excellent outpost for us to drive the island on 6 individual day trips. Perfect room with a great sleeping mattress and all accoutrements needed plus a tea table on a covered porch. The Caribbean view was an awesome experience morning and evening. The restaurant was our stalwart for nourishment each morning and all but one evening. Chef Calvin and all involved were attentive and offered great food choices; always at least one protein, vegetables and dessert for dinner with breakfast of fruit, cereal, bread, local jellies, multiple meats, eggs and coffee/tea. Beer and drink options were satisfying after exploring and driving Dominica unique geography and roads!"
