"We had a room on the top floor with a great view of the mountains and the waterfront. The room was big and had a dining table. Bed was comfortable, shower was big. Very convenient for checking out V&A waterfront and catching the ferry to Robben island. Parking is not included but is cheap. Room service menu is good and the staff at the front desk are very accommodating. Overall a very good stay and would stay again. "

"We arranged to arrive 1 day early before our organized group tour of S Africa. The hotel on request arranged for private car to pick us up at airport after our international flight. When we checked in early, we learned the hotel was completely full. They had upgraded our room for the night to the top floor’s priority suite. "The Verde is convenient for the Airport and a free shuttle gives regular access to and from the airport. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms well furnished with excellent shower rooms. The restaurant provides a good choice for breakfast, and the evening meals were good and reasonably priced "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Bay Hotel. The staff excelled. Our one grip would be the breakfast arrangements which seem in disarray. Tables left uncleared ready for new guest to eat and don’t expect to be offered coffee or tea promptly. We didn’t bother on the second day and ate out. Couldn’t quite work out why there wasn’t a self service station for hot drinks. However this would not deter us from staying again the hotel is in a superb position ."
