"I went here to stay while I was going to see Elton John in Lucca. When I arrived, I was given a personal tour of the grounds... pure Tuscan living! When I went to go to the pool, I found myself in the kitchen, and was introduced to other guests staying there and was offered a seat during lunch...pool was too inviting. What’s nice is that it feels like a home, guest gathered in a parlor or in the kitchen and sat around and talked... a lovely experience. Would stay here again. "

"The villa itself is stunning, lovely pool area and grounds and staff really great, friendly and helpful. The apartment we stayed in was okay - we knew it was in the basement of the villa, but it was very dark. We had booked it as it came with a kitchen and perhaps an oversight on our part but there was no oven, the fridge was tiny and a real lack of cooking utensils, it was very basic and meant we did not really cook while staying despite having wanted to.
