However, we were not aware that the august festival in 2nd half of August , would involve us being kept awake until1.30am the first night and 3am the second night when the music ended. "Reading some previous us reviews I am not sure what some people are expecting when they book an historic hotel? This is a beautiful individual old building furnished in a delightful appropriate manner. Yes, it is a little dark but that's how it was 500 years ago. We were welcomed by Eva and shown where to park. All the staff could not have been more helpful. It has a lovely little bar and serves a lovely breakfast.
