"This place is a FANTASTIC value. We stayed in a couple much more expensive places in the area before staying here for the night before we flew out. The room, including the bathroom and kitchenette was very clean. There were water bottles provided. The room setup worked perfectly. We took a look at the pool in the morning and it was actually a good size with a really lovely (extremely sunny) deck. There were flowers everywhere and a shady spot to sit while we put our feet in. "Overall the property was in good condition however the noise pollution was horrendous, it was like having the traffic continuously driving through your apartment. The double glassed doors windows made not the slightest difference, the traffic as the apartment is on the main road was 24hours and you could hear every noise from outside. I complained to the owner who basically ignored me by sending a sarcastic message “ have a good nights sleep” sleeping was impossible so if sleeping is important...

"I really enjoyed my stay at Mood Matuna. The room was clean and very spacious. The water was hot and plentiful for all of my showers. The cozy restaurant and bar are nice touches. In my particular room, the shower water did drain a little slow but nothing overwhelming. The staff was really great and helpful. Its a small boutique-like hotel with about 36 rooms, which I like. Right outside of the hotel is a short walk to food, entertainment, shopping and much more. If you are planning excursions, I was picked up directly from the hotel for one and the other was just a 2 minute walk to the pick up location, but check for your particular excursion choices. Book this hotel!"
