This place is great , whether it is family or work trips the location , rooms and facilities are awesome. The staff are amazing every time and very helpful nothing is a bother! Shout out to Ram for always a warm welcome, and to the security guy for always providing a solid hurrah!

3rd times we stayed in this hotel was a plesure. Convenience, so many restaurant around, asian grocery, pubs and bubble tea shop. Comfy bed, just need to upgrade the pillow I suggested. All of them has been flat.

Was very easy to check in, Parking was also provided and could have charged my EV for free if I had the type 2 to type 2 cable, excellent service, very happy, if we ever stay overnight again in Canberra will book again with Dickson's.

Location is very convenient, in the centre of Dickson where plenty of dining options (Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, McDonald’s and cafes with great coffee etc.) Room is standard hotel room, clean and neat. The most thing I appreciated was, they provide two different kind of pillows (soft and firm). Our trip is basically for my son’s sport competition, so we go out at 7am and only back to hotel at 8pm after dinner. We are very happy to stay just for having a good rest. This is our second time to stay here and probably for next year sport events, we will come back to stay as well.

The hotel itself is great. It is connected to the 'Tradies' club, where the restaurants are situated. This usually works very well indeed, but this time there was a rather large group also staying & the breakfast staff were absolutely overwhelmed. The first morning I waited almost one & a half hours from ordering to receiving the meal. The second morning the wait was shorter, just about 40 mins. I have stayed here many times & never experienced anything like this. Hopefully this has not become the new normal.

We’ve stayed here a few times ourselves and with kids, rooms are always clean, quiet and parking available right outside. Staff are always friendly and efficient plus plenty of food options nearby or microwave which we often use for smaller frozen meals.

Aircon worked inconsistently. When reported we asked for blankets because there was none in the rooms. Staff dropped off one blanket (room slept 4 and was booked for 4) and told us to look in the cupboard. We had done this before calling reception. Staff member walked off with no solution. Main bathroom light was not working.

evening meals of average quality. Barramundi was a couple of thinly sliced pieces and dry, my seafood basket was heavily battered and slightly overcooked. As a result, we decided to skip breakfast there and eat out.
