"This was the best customer service I've ever had at a hotel; the female night manager helped arrange our parking, carried most of our suitcases, and even helped us buy bus tickets - at the bus stop! While there were a few details, like too much road noise and the tv not working (could care less), the staff's friendliness and helpfulness made it a very enjoyable stay. Would stay again in heartbeat."

"La Perla is a true find - not via satnav - but in every other way. The rooms are spacious with views and balconies. The breakfast is terrific and their dinner offerings are limited but tasty and reasonably priced. The family, husband, wife, wife’s sister and daughter all work the front of the house and do a terrific job. Back to that satnav comment. The hotel is well above Tremezzo with wonderful views. "The young man went out of his way to helpfully check us in, carry our cases and show us to our rooms. Wonderful service by him. Rooms both very good size and clean with excellent amenities apart from poor hair dryer and slamming 3 fire doors below my room, which is the entrance to the building so can not be stopped. Location great - very close to train station and lake front. Great value hotel all in all. Breakfast not so good. We were told it was 8-10, arrived at 8.05 to find the door...
