"Second time staying here in two years, it's good value for money relative the cost of hotels in Brooklyn as you get breakfast included, but the rooms are looking really tired now. Marked walls and tired carpet, it really needs a refresh. The breakfast is good, however a queue everyday to find a seat and you feel quite rushed as there is a 30 minute window to eat in so everyone gets a chance to eat. The elevator was out of order for 3 out of the 4 nights and when it does work its slow. Location...

"The room was super comfortable and well designed for the limited space available - also quiet, so we slept great. The only elevator broke down while we were there, and we had to climb 4 flights of stairs a few times to reach our 5th floor room. (We saw others who had to carry very heavy luggage down the stairs). The surrounding area feels quite safe but is a bit dark and dingy. The hotel no longer offers parking, and the nearby options are sketchy, so we don’t recommend it if you’re driving...

"I like the room, microwave and refrigerator available. Affordable. It was close to the subway. It was only $2.90 for a ride to Manhattan. Breakfast was good enough but the coffee machine has to be replaced. It is not good at all. THEY NEED to replace the rug in the hallway. Vending machines and ice machine are available. "

"I found the hotel to have a "youth hostel like" feel. Staff was very friendly and helpful but overall the hotel was not what I was expecting. My bed was on a low bed frame with just a mattress so anyone with difficulty standing from a lower surface would definitely have difficulties getting out of bed. My VIP upgrade bottle of wine was 2 small airplane sized bottles . Hotel was clean and well kept and I did feel safe."

"The bathroom toilet didn't have a cover which was strange. Don't know if the ac in my room wasn't working but it just wouldn't seem to get cold. The room was a good size & nicely designed. Staff was friendly and willing to help. "
