"Hotel is perfectly located. Views of the cathedral from some of the rooms are SPECTACULAR. The building is ancient and quirky but beautifully kept up and spotless. Plenty of bathrooms for rooms that share them. Friendly front desk. Continental breakfast, which is included, is great. If you are looking for something that feels historic and more like a B&B with charm rather than a hotel — and don’t have mobility issues — don’t stay anywhere else."

The breakfast offering was particularly good - a different menu, with flexibility within the options, and the buffet was lovely as well. The location is fantastic for walking and beaches, which is all we wanted for this trip, so we are very happy guests and would certainly return for another visit."

"The hotel has a slightly unusual exterior—possibly a converted building from the old Manston airfield—but don’t let that put you off. Inside, the facilities are simple, but everything is immaculately presented and spotlessly clean. The rooms are very tidy and comfortable. What really stood out was the staff: friendly, helpful, and exceptionally accommodating. They even went out of their way to rearrange furniture to create a dog-friendly space for breakfast. A great stay if you value cleanliness and warm hospitality."
