"We stayed in a standard room - King bed for 7 nights while staying in Barbados for the Australia V West Indies test cricket. We loved our accommodation. Our room was on the second floor overlooking one of the pools plus we had beach views. It was modern and clean. The hotel arranged a shuttle for all guests going to and from the cricket each day. This was fabulous! Earl and Dave (our drivers) were both legends. The shuttle cost 20 BBD pp. I loved that we had an actual laundry - not an expensive laundry service - (but instead a shared washing machine and dryer on our floor) that we could use without payment. We used it several times - there's a clothes rack in the room for drying clothes on your balcony. The kitchenette was well equipped - a decent sized fridge and freezer (which was great for freezing waters for each day at the cricket), toaster, kettle, coffee machine (no instructions for how to work it though) crockery and glassware. The room was spacious, and the balcony was perfect after a long hot day at the cricket. Local buses (we only used the yellow ones) are literally at your doorstep for only $3.50 BBD pp in each direction (no matter where you get off). We caught them regularly to check out Bridgetown, Holetown...A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around $70USD from memory - what I loved was the fixed pricing chart at the airport. The hotel has an awesome bar on site and a little store. Although, for groceries just take a local bus to the supermarket. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Coconut Court Hotel in Barbados. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcome. They greeted us with refreshing rum punches and were consistently warm, friendly, and helpful throughout our stay. Whether we had questions or needed help arranging anything, they were always happy to assist. The rooms were beautiful and very clean, with housekeeping stopping by daily to keep everything in perfect shape. The property itself is charming, with a lovely pool and a beachside bar that’s perfect for relaxing with a drink in hand. One thing to note: if you’re planning to enjoy the beach on the property, June might not be the best time, as there was quite a bit of seaweed during our stay. We ended up heading over to Brown’s Beach and Carlisle Bay for better swimming conditions, and both were fantastic alternatives. The hotel also has its own restaurants, and one highlight was the Monday happy hour where guests can meet the owners over rum punch—a nice personal touch that made us feel even more at home. All in all, we truly enjoyed our time at Coconut Court and would absolutely stay here again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, and relaxing stay in Barbados."

"If you are trying to decide between the Marriott properties- this is definitely the best (more to open soon though). The beach is beautiful and there is great snorkeling if you follow the rope on the left side over the reef. We stayed in a split ocean view - incredible view. The adults pool is beautifully landscaped and feels very special (even had monkey activity). The staff is the best part of the stay - they genuinely want your stay to be top notch- shout out to Ether, Astrid, Tamisha and Raquel…book this hotel now - you will not regret it!"
