"There’s much to be commended about this hotel. It’s a little distance from the train station and most restaurants, but it’s a beautiful spot with a good view of the lake and mountains. The breakfast is incredible. The only real issue we had (apart from fairly high price) was that the staff was pretty rude just about anytime we interacted with them in any way. We ended up just trying not to ask for anything. Otherwise it was a good stay."

"Excellent service and breathtaking view. Eating at Parkrestaurant Les Cascades is a must. Their course menu changes every day. Nicolas was a great server. All staff are great and accommodating. If you want to experience historical site- this is a place to be. Looking forward to return."

"Views were absolutely phenomenal, don't think there is a single room without a great view. Accommodations are simple, but well executed. Beds were comfy, breakfast (included in my stay) was awesome, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and nothing but kind and helpful. Perfect location right below the Allmendhubel. 100% would stay here again. Traveled with a toddler and felt super comfortable."
