"We had a really good stay , lovely walk up in the hills . Staff were really helpful and friendly, it was nice to take the
dog
with us to stay too . Food was lovely and yummy to shame we missed breakfast as we had to leave early ☹️. Well recommended and we’re definitely coming back with my daughter in a few months 😊 "

"Stunning country castle style hotel. Rooms finished to a very high standard. Staff were wonderfully attentive, seemed genuinely pleased to help and proud of their establishment. Packed with history and a real oasis of peace and comfort. Afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious with a wide choice of options. I felt that the dinner option I had was a bit “nouveau cuisine”, lots on the plate but not much there. But what was there was very well prepared. Spa was very pleasant, although a bit of a shame that the steam room was out of order, as well as the lift to the spa. Will be staying again, it’s not cheap, but you pay for what you get. "
