"Such a beautiful stay at the Staycation Maldon. Very nice location at the heart of the high trees. The suite was very beautifully decorated for Christmas and this really made it very special. Spacious rooms with kitchen made it super convenient and comfortable. Aircon/Heating unit in every room was super required due to the cold weather. My wife and I loved it and for sure will be back again 100% recommend!"

"We had room 9 which had an upstairs with twin beds as well as the double room down stairs. Plenty of space for just my friend and I. Beds very comfy, and we loved having our own outside space at the back. We couldn't put our finger on what the slight odour was in the room, but it didn't spoil our stay, so we didn't report it. The breakfast was absolutely gorgeous! as was our meal the night before. This place is very good value for money, and I would stay here again. "

"I arrived 1.45pm, check in was 2pm but I was told the room was ready and it was quite quiet. I went to get luggage from the car and then went to the room but it wasn't ready, the cleaner had literally just gone into the room. I asked at reception if another room was ready instead but they said this time that they were really busy and couldn't change room. Whilst it wasn't a huge problem that the room wasn't ready I do wonder if if would have been by 2pm check in. I went away and didn't come back...
