Overall, we liked The Dagny. Almost everywhere was walkable. If not, we were close to public transit. The staff was great and the rooms were clean. What we did not like was the water pressure in the shower was weak, and there were no drawers in the room in which to put our clothes. The room was fine but nothing out of the ordinary.

They were very helpful and accommodating. We learned at check-in that Expedia didn't forward our reservation to the hotel. Ultimately they found and honored our reservation. They were great, but probably won't be using Expedia int he future.

So, there is an "urban destination fee" which comes out to about 20 additional bucks. You dont really get informed until a few days before your reservation. Fine, a resort fee, BUT, your resort has a meth addicted homeless person on each street. On my walk to the corner mall i was almost assualted by a drug addict who had brass knuckles. These folks are on every street near the hotel. Urban destination fee seems pretty haughty for a really nice hotel in such a dangerous location. We wont be returning until Boston gets the drug addicted crisis under control.

The only thing I would like on property would be a small convenience store area for sumdries, but Instacart easily resolves that issue. The staff, particularly the concierge desk was outstanding. John and the rest of the crew were extremely polite, knowledgable and helpful. They even check in on you by text, it's great.
