"The property is a beautiful stone hotel with a large patio overlooking a small pond. It is adjacent to a nature preserve and is away from town, but still convenient. The trees there are outstanding especially the large cedar tree that is in this picture. We sat on the patio one evening and I sat there watching the sunset on another. The room was small, but sufficient as we were using the hotel as a base for sightseeing and didn't really need anything more. The restaurant had a good menu and...

"A lovely place in a lovely setting. Checking in was very quick with staff being attentive, pleasant and professional. The only niggle was…The weather was very warm and when we first arrived in the room all windows were closed. It heat in the room was unbearable. There was a floor standing fan which we put on straight away. There was also no fridge in the room. I appreciate that other upgrade rooms had a fridge, but I thought nowadays all hotels had at least a fridge for water and other drinks. A small thing that could be sorted as there was more than enough space in the room to put one. It doesn’t take away the experience we had in staying at this hotel and would return."
