"It was at Christmas, the hotel looked lovely. It is so charming with the stained glass and old furniture, the library and games (I mean cards, etc, not computers) room. I didn’t book a vegan breakfast but I talked to the lovely breakfast chef and she said they could arrange vegan breakfast and also dinners. I slept well, the shower, aircon, tv all worked well. Having a fridge was great. The bed covers and sheets were very comfortable. Being close to the train and the shops is great if you are using public transport. Thanks so much Hotel Metropole. "
