"Stay from dec 22 to 26. If want to play golf everyday stay here. If your not into walking please dont. Theres only one restaurant on property that a short walk. The gas station mini mart is 15 minutes. Another 15 minute to neach and restaurants. Yes they do have shuttle it onlyvruns twice. Overall nice experience. The front desk was helpful"

"The property is dated, needs to be freshened up top to bottom. It is on the fringe of a wooded area nice and quite. The 1 big complaint is that the property owner did not advise us that we were the only visitors to be there most of the time so there would be no food service available, so we had to cook every meal for ourselves. "I truly enjoyed my stay at The Soco Hotel. Even though this was a solo trip , I never once felt alone. The staff were so friendly and helpful, the food was excellent, and the views were breathtaking. The cleaning staff also decorated my room for my birthday which was beautiful!!! Will definitely stay here again!!❤️❤️"

"We love this property. It’s clean, comfortable, kind and Bajan owned and staffed. We are not all inclusive people as we like to surf and tour the island. Bougainvillea is a great home base and we recommend it to couples or families. See you next year!"

"Had a really good time here with my wife with a group of friends about 30 in total celebrating the 50th birthday of my very good childhood friend. The staff were very friendly and polite, the ambience of the Hotel is fantastic as is the food (very good variety and options for everyone). Our room was a balcony with the Ocean view and very breath-taking waking up to the view everyday. Although quite pricey, we did enjoy our stay."

"I was really reluctant after reading all the bad reviews but I booked it anyway because I wanted a big pool area. Well I was pleasantly surprised. It was no where near as bad as the reviews made it sound. It definitely had one of the beach areas. The pool was large. Yes it is very dated but a lot of hotels in Barbados are. The jacuzzi did not work and I wish I had known that before I booked it. They gave me a credit but I was charged so taxes they stated were shown on Expedia. The location of the hotel was perfect walking distance to the (less then 1.5m) Gap nightlife. Lots of restaurants even closer."

"Hotel is set in beautiful well kept grounds. Staff are friendly and attentive, rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Good breakfast daily meals generally good, with excellent table service even if food service is a little slow. Pool area is lovely and pool bar service good with a good choice of drinks available. Only issue was water temperature in room could’ve been warmer and more pressure to shower, this was also noted by housekeeping. Would stay again and recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful relaxing holiday."
