"Beautiful property set in a an old Ottoman house with a garden. It's within walking distance of the Safranbolu town centre, which has plenty of eating & shopping options. The owners are the sweetest, nicest people, very personable & helpful. The breakfast is a big & delicious spread with lovely personal touches, like the homemade jams. We loved Safranbolu as a town and would love to visit again. If we do, we'll be sure to stay at Akbulut Konak again."

"Nice welcome when I arrived from the guys on reception. The room was large and very clean, with all the amenities in the room that you do not often see in hotels in Turkey. The room was cleaned every day and each time I passed reception they always smiled and spoke."

"We loved our stay in Rize. Its quieter than other areas of Turkey, so you can mingle with locals more. Beautiful scenery anyway you drive. I think hiring a car allows you to really explore the area. Lots of activities from History, sports or just relaxing by lakes in lush green areas. We stayed 5 days need to return to explore some more. The hotel was an excellent place to explore from. Good breakfast. My husband and I enjoyed the swimming and spa. Wonderful relaxing break. "

"The staff at the property were terrible and pretty unreasonable. We checked out and were going to have lunch at the hotel restaurant and they wanted us to move our car. The receptionists were rude and the breakfast wasn`t good. "

"The property and staff were excellent. Breakfast was great (and complimentary). I rented a king suite and it had a small kitchen, but I wish there was more provided in the kitchen such as dish soap, a sponge, a knife, more cookware etc. the bathroom was great, there was a washer but no dryer so we weren’t able to do our laundry due to the winter conditions outside.
