"We spent a week in the newly opened Axel Hotel in Bilbao. Our choice turned out to be perfect in every possible way. The staff in every area is outstanding, friendly, smiling, accommodating from the Reception to kitchen/bar staff, housekeeping. It is hard to name all but wanted to thank Luz for her big smile and attentiveness each morning during breakfast. "Loved our time here. The guy who checked us in allowed us to check in early which was great so we were able to get straight to our room. All of the staff were lovely throughout. Nice big comfy bed, great shower and a clean room. Location is ideal, nothing is more than 25 / 30 mins away walking which we love to do.
