Where to stay in Bilbao Bay

Getxo is a residential town close to Bilbao. Hardly anyone speaks English, but they are all very nice and there’s tons a small places serving pintxos and drinks. This ‘hanging bridge’ is the Bizkaia Bridge, a transportation device that bring cars and people across the river between Getxo and Portugalete.

Algorta

You might enjoy the beaches while in Algorta. Arrigunaga Beach is a notable sight, and you can get around town at Algorta Station or Bidezabal Station to see more of the city.

Las Arenas

While you're in Las Arenas, take in top sights like Bay of Biscay or Estuary of Bilbao, and hop on the metro to see more the city at Lamiako Station or Leioa Station.

Astrabudua

Astrabudua might not have many top sights, but Estadio Nuevo Lasesarre and Bilbao Exhibition Centre are two attractions nearby that you can check out.
