"My husband and I had a fantastic stay, the staff were friendly and welcoming. Due to a mistake with the room listing on Expedia we were given a free upgrade to the King Suite, which was a lovely touch. The check in and check out procedure was quick and easy, and we received our deposit back almost instantly, had no issues with the room access codes. The property has an "old Hollywood" kind of vibe which we loved, we didn't find the noise from Santa Monica Boulevard to be a problem at all, neither was the noise from neighbouring rooms - overall we found it to be surprisingly peaceful for such a central location. The rooftop terrace was cute, we saw a hummingbird up there on our last day, amazing! The location is perfect for exploring Beverly Hills and West Hollywood, great bars, restaurants and coffee shops are a 10 minute walk away, as well as upmarket boutiques, and the area feels safe. For the room rate you're really going to struggle to find a better price in a comparable location. We wouldn't hesitate to book a stay here again in the not too distant future, thank you to all for an unforgettable stay."
