Second visit to this lovely hotel and nearly as good as 9 years ago. Only complaint was allowing weekend day trips by local groups of men, who were loud and allowed to drink beer in the main swimming pool while families and kids were trying to swim, no one from the hotel challenged their behaviour and it felt intimidating. Apart from that it was wonderful

This is a very honest review of the experience i have had during my 8 day at this resort with my family, on a half board basis in their superior room x 2 Pros- Bel Ombre is a fantastic area to base yourself in with fantastic snorkelling just at the hotel beach. Beach itself was very clean and beautiful, and personally we prefer this over the much more busier northern beaches. -Amazing spa and massages -The few experienced staff are very good and know their job well. Cons- Resort definitely is not 4* but only a 3*. Their biggest letdown is their service- people are wonderful, but the management is extremely poor and focus on customer satisfaction is lacking. -Very greedy management, everything is about making money- Several incidents during our stay highlighting this fact- eg- glass of wine costs £7- which is fine- but the quantity should be measured and consistent. I had it three times and every time had different quantities for the same price! The last one I barely had two sips of wine in my glass which was a bit steep to pay £7 for!! - food- this is the biggest letdown. Quality of food and the choices of food are not at all upto the mark. Several days the soup has been cold, birds pecking at the breads/ cakes, some food items running out half way through the buffet time and chefs unwilling to refill- poor service in buffets- the only vegetarian food available is always Indian. - I think they have hired a lot of young trainee waiters who unfortunately, were just not a

Bad hotel. bad service. Maintenance in the whole hotel is just bad. In the room - stained bedding that should be new, full of mosquitoes and ants, also on the bed, broken flooring, termites that leave traces of black dust on the floor, gray torn curtains. In the dining room - the dessert area there are a lot of ants. The food is mediocre or below, vegetables are not fresh and even when something runs out it takes a long time to refill. This also applies to the plates and cutlery that were missing all the time. Plastic chairs that are the chairs you have to sit on to eat, with a cover from the 70s. No self-respecting place had such a chair for guests. Service: only the cleaning lady was nice - the rest are beyond criticism. A grumpy welcome in the dining room, not a single smile. In conclusion: stay away! There is no shortage of good hotels in the area. A 2 star hotel and no more.

June stay.
We had a ground floor beach view room which was lovely. Nice and spacious. Only comment would be to make sure you take the all inclusive package as drinks and food would be expensive otherwise. This is cheaper if booking through Hotels.com than directly with the hotel on arrival. Only one restaurant other than the buffet which could be limiting if you are staying for longer periods.

Property is just ok, used to be great one but not anymore. Maintenance work required all around the property. Ants and lizards were in the room, proper pest control is needed to take care of this. Entertainment was good. Hotel staffs pretty helpful and pleasant. At breakfast a variety is needed, most of the days they had the same food every morning.

We have just returned from a lovely relaxing break at Tamassa. From the moment we arrived we were amazed with the wonderful service and amazing facilities at Tamassa. We visited the lovely peaceful spa with sauna and steam room every other day, we went on the included snorkleing (3 times) and glass bottom boat even spotting a turtle one day. The beach was beautiful and everything so close. The room was lovely and comfortable. We spent most of our days in the pool, spa, playing table tennis or chess. The food was lovely with loads of choice. Service was great, and staff so friendly, can't fault anything. We never thought we'd be the type to like a resort holiday but this has converted us! We've come back feeling completely refreshed and recharged. Thank you Tamassa 🙂
