"I love my stay at catalonia , and will be back soon in their punta cana location and santo domingo location. Needless to say the hotel is stunning , and very well kept . Super clean, Ana sanchez was amazing and would help up everyday in cleaning our room and making sure we were okay. I hope to see her again in my next stay. The staff is extremely sweet , and overall super accommodating. The food is great , there’s 2 restaurants in the hotel which i both loved. I also enjoyed their breakfast...

"As a women traveling alone- I looked for a hotel that offered valet parking. In my ignorance, I wasn’t aware that it wasn’t available at all hours. I had to park my car in the garage at 2am alone- which defeated the purpose of the valet parking. Other than that slight inconvenience everything else was amazing! I will definitely return."

"What a great experience staying at Aloft! This was a not a lucky week for us and we ran in to several issues. At every step of the way, the staff was fantastic - even though the situations were personally difficult. They were kind, supportive, patient and just had GREAT attitudes. They were always willing to go above and beyond! Two employees were absolutely the best - Jacinto and Naraye. These 2 employees made us feel at home. We were so grateful to have them in our lives at this time!"

"The check in and check out process is to long. They didn’t keep a credit card for incidentals and I was told that “ I didn’t have credit “ so I had to go back and ask for them to take a credit card so I could use the bars, restaurants etc!"

"Overall, I had a very good stay there and will return. Here are some suggestions for improvement: Parking lot is under construction - not a great place to park. Also, on demand hot water system doesn't always produce hot water. Breakfast could also be improved."

Avoid at all costs - scam hotel

"I brought my family here as a last minute booking when a flight was cancelled. The owner took my money, then locked the gate and did not respond to phone calls when we arrived, so there was no way in. There's no doorbell or any other way to alert the front desk when you arrive, so I was stranded outside with my wide and small children in an unfamiliar neighborhood in a country where we did not speak the language. Not only did the owner not apologize, but despite the fact we hadn't stayed at the place, they refused to refund my money. We are a single income family with little kids. The owner then lied that they had not received any phone calls when I have call logs proving that they failed to answer. Hotels.com claim they can't do anything because the lying owner refuses to respond to them. Do not stay here, they are dishonest scammers."
