"A historic hotel with lovely staff. The only downside was the previous occupant of the bedroom had left towels hanging behind a door and they didn’t get removed. "

"Lovely country pub with loads of character. Located in a small village, in an isolated, quiet location. Warm welcome from the Land Lady and Scrappy Do. Friendly and helpful staff. Stayed two nights, room clean and comfortable with tea/coffe and TV. Free wifi, useful as there was no phone signal. Ate at the pub both nights, tasty, reasonably priced food. Recomend the Venison pie with a glass of red. Overall, an excellent stay, definately recommend. Will be staying again when back in the area."

"We loved everything about our stay here. It was so peaceful with beautiful surroundings and views. The room itself was very cosy with everything we needed and some extra little treats. We didn’t have to think about anything. It was very relaxing. The bed was so comfortable and the bath was huge. We would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the near future. "
